WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

Every project is unique, just like every family, and designing spaces for families is at the heart of what we do at Pauza. Designer and founder, Michelle, began Pauza to fulfill her dream of designing homes and landscapes for families. Family has always been an important part of her identity as a designer. Now a mother of two, she approaches design from a place of what family means. 

Design is not just a kitchen for cooking or a yard for grass. Design is so much more, and should be tuned to daily needs and life long passions.

With a background in art and architecture for over 15 years, Michelle approaches each project as an opportunity to find delight in the everyday. What this means, and what we hope it means for our clients, is that good design brings enjoyment of little moments in everyday living. Through the experience across spaces right down to the details, we design refined places for how a family needs and wants to live and grow together. From a living space that frames a view to the garden each morning, to a multi-use kitchen with a home for everything to an expanded outdoor dining area, Pauza creates spaces for you and your family that make memories last and build family bonds.

Like the name inspires, Pauza is about creating designs that make the little moments in life precious.
